About Us

Our Mission

BE YOUR BEST - It’s ALWAYS ENOUGH

Granite State Elite Baseball and our coaching staff strive to attract players and families with these common interest:

  • Love for the game of baseball.
  • Creating an environment in which players can reach their full potential and achieve the self-confidence and positive self-esteem necessary to be successful both on and off the field.
  • Developing individual skills and team tactics to enable players and/or teams to compete at the highest level.
  • Being a part of a family. Granite State Elite Baseball focuses on your development and getting better is a main focus along with winning, but even more important is having fun and feeling a part of something special.

The Granite State Elite Baseball organization exists for the specific purpose of developing a competitive youth travel baseball program focused on developing players capable of competing at the highest levels with the demonstrated skills necessary to play at the collegiate level. Our dedicated coaches and volunteer staff facilitate our athletes’ growth by conducting challenging practices and scheduling the highest level of competitive activity available. Reaching these goals must be accomplished within the proper framework, instilling character, self-esteem, confidence and sportsmanship.

Achievement of these lofty and worthwhile goals within the appropriate environment can only be reached through the mature behavior and exemplary conduct of the coaches, players and parents of the organization. The coaches’ relationship with the players must be of the highest ethical and moral standards and be based upon concern and just principles that ensure equitable treatment will prevail in all circumstances.

An aggressive desire for victory combined with the procedural and graduated development of baseball skills through exceptional coach and advanced training techniques is of paramount importance.  Additionally, everyone should realize that baseball is only a game and is the forum we use to help our athletes mature into responsible and confident individuals.

This is the Granite State Elite Way.

10 Leadership Fundamentals

  1. Golden Rule – Treat others how you want to be treated.
  2. Vision – a culture of excellence, enthusiasm, forgiveness, teamwork, and competitiveness will maximize our chances to reach our goals.
  3. Lead by example. Bench the ego and give your best effort now. No whining. No complaining. No excuses.
  4. Connect with empathy: don’t get mad, be curious of how you impact others.
  5. It takes courage – the strength of will to do what’s difficult – to get rid of both complacency and a person’s safety net. It takes courage to give your best effort right now to make self and teammates better. This becomes easier when you understand that your best effort is always good enough.
  6. Good values attract good people and good people make me better.
  7. Little things make the big things happen.
  8. Greatness and success are attainable by all.
  9. Adversity is  good for me as long as I literally survive.
  10. Strive for perfection, but never expect it.

10 Mental Game Fundamentals

  1. Baseball is what we do; it is not who we are.
  2. Success is the peace of mind that comes from knowing you did your best. The GS Elite way is all about giving your best effort now.
  3. Play to win – be aggressive and communicate with self and others in a positive manner.
  4. More communication is nonverbal than verbal. Act poised and upbeat.
  5. The most important coach each player will ever have is himself. Coaches are teaching players how to coach themselves and be good at life, which (happily) includes baseball.
  6. You are responsible for your behavior. You can control your readiness with both attitude and physiology, your plan of attack, and your focus.
  7. Each player has a dual role: coach and athlete. He coaches himself (and sometimes others) between pitches and switches to a trust/athlete mode when he steps into sacred space (e.g. batter’s box, engaged with pitching rubber, or pitcher winding up for everyone else).
  8. We want you to develop routines to get yourself into the right place at the right time with a specific, controllable objective.
  9. When in sacred space, laser focus on the task at hand and let it happen.
  10. Your best effort is tough to give, but if you are disciplined enough to design a plan to create an ideal performance state, commit to a plan of attack, and focus and then execute that routine precisely, success is guaranteed.

GSE Baseball Partners with 603 Bandits

Exciting partnership coming to Granite State Elite Baseball!

Granite State Elite Baseball is excited to announce a new partnership with the 603 Bandits. GSE Baseball was formed in 2021 and is now in its second year with 6 teams ranging from 10U to high school level. 603 Bandits, created by Steve Siravo, started in 2012 fielding a highly competitive team primarily in the fall season each year. The Bandits since inception have a record of 124-29-4 playing tournaments across the Northeast. Aside from being very competitive on the field, the program has also had a lot of success helping players get to the next level with many players from the organization going on to play D1-D3 baseball and others being drafted into the MLB.

“I am extremely excited about this partnership. As we continue to grow GSE Baseball in this area it is important to have the right people in place. Steve has a track record building highly competitive teams and assisting players in the process of playing at the next level.” James Christie, President of Granite State Elite.

Moving forward GSE will continue to field baseball teams from ages 8U to 14U while all teams 15U and above will fall under the 603 Bandits name.  Both GSE Baseball and 603 Bandits will operate together under the GSE umbrella and call Elite Sports Academy in Epsom, NH their home for winter training. The winter training program offered combines tried and true development along with state-of-the-art training. Each team goes thru an off-season program that combines strength and conditioning led by a certified instructor, sports vision training, position specific work, along with the typical mechanical work on hitting, fielding, pitching, etc. All of this is included in tuition for the year.

GSE Baseball and the 603 Bandits will be hosting a small tryout on Sunday October 23rd. You can register for the tryout at www.gsebaseball.com. Rosters are being finalized for teams that will practice this winter and play a full summer tournament schedule.

Please reach out with any questions you may have. More details will be shared this week on FB and on our website.
